Ok so I came across this amazing website called Pura Vida Bracelets I'm sure if you have facebook you have seen the adds because now they are starting to get pretty big. They have a really cool story on how they got started and about what they do. They sell these bracelets they are simple bracelets but they are really awesome you can pick different bracelets to purchase to help a charity. The best part is the bracelets are only 5 dollars! For every bracelet you purchase i believe a dollar goes to that charity the bracelet is named after. All the bracelets on there don't help out Charity's they have really cool designs and other types of bracelets on the website too, but why not get one that helps someone else out. I got the save the dolphin one which is the blue one here and i also got the pink one for a dear friend that just got diagnosed with breast cancer. These bracelets are awesome and its for a great cause so go check them out!! It prefect for ankle braclets and great for any summer outfit accessory! If you make a account with them you also get 10 or 20 percent of so if you only get one bracelet its only 4 bucks and the shipping is free! You honestly need to go get one!!

Bohemian Inspiration

     So much for my new years resolution to post on my blog all the time because that hasn't worked out! I promise I'm trying to be better. I have been getting a lot of people requesting outfits and styles to blog about and this has been one I have gotten a lot! This style for the week is in honor of one of my best friends Zoey Tow she is beautiful and I honestly should have had her as the model! Bohemian Fashion has honestly sky rocketed in the past year and I think one of the main reasons is because of how awesome Vanessa Hudgens is and how she made the bohemian style blow up! Kimonos and chained headbands are really taking off and are super fun for the summer. So I'm here to show you how to wear them. The first thing to look for when picking out a Kimono is making sure it is not to long for you, if your short like me I cant wear the ones that go all the way to the floor because I would trip every time I walked. The next thing to look for is the color and pattern, this is a big one because you want something that could go with multiple outfits so you could wear it over and over again not just once. The color and pattern are huge because you also don't want something to crazy because then everyone is just gonna be paying attention to that. Patterns are hard because so many times a patterns can be really in trend on day and then in a week it can be totally out of style, so go with something simple and classy not crazy and trashy. High waisted shorts are still in and I'm sure they still will be by the time summer is here again. High waisted shorts are kinda tricking to find the perfect ones because some of them show a little to much of the checks if you know what I mean. We all know that girls that has a little to short of shorts and you defiantly don't want to be her! Make sure when getting high waisted shorts you don't have a gap at the top and its tight around your waist the ones I'm wearing here are a little loose at the top but fit great at the bottom so its hard to find the best of both worlds. I am really into the tight long quarter length cropped top. They fit perfectly and they wont blow up in the wind so you wont accidentally flash someone. Hollister has a great deal on them right now and they are only $12.00 and they have I believe four different colors so for sure check it out! When getting a headpiece defiantly try it on even if you have to go in the dressing room and take it out of it's packaging because there has been to many times I have got one and it doesn't fit. It might just be that my head is big but still try it on! You want something that doesn't have to many things dangling from it because that is just distracting. Here I am just wearing one with nothing on it but I do also like the ones with a stone in the middle. I am also wearing a cuff bracket and its just a plain gold one they have ones with pearls at the end and diamonds at Forever 21. So now lets get down to the details of my outfit. Shorts-Hollister Co.
Crop top-Hollister Co.
Chain Headband-Tilly's
Kimono- Forever 21
Necklace-Tilly’s
Arm Cuff-Abercrombie and Fitch

HITTING GOLD!

     For christmas this year all I wanted was a tee pee! My amazing dad made me one and I am very thankful he did so I could do this amazing photo shoot with the help of my best friend Melisa Guevara to take the pictures for me! She is very talented and is off away at a Disney Internship right now, I know she is going to do amazing things in life and I'm very glad she made time for me before she left! I also had amazing help from my best friend Kyleigh Hall who did my makeup. A lot of time went into this and I hope you guys love the photos as much as I do! For this photo shoot I incorporated a bunch of different styles in it. I have a Native American feel, Bohemian, vintage, and a little bit of modern. All the props I got at a thrift stores. I gotI the chandelier, vintage books and the suitcase from White Elephant. The red rug, fur coat, and the big blue suitcase from This That and More Thrift Store. If you are looking for old Unique furniture and vintage suitcases and collectables check them out because they had a lot of cool thongs!  The red little stool chair from Blessingdale’s Thrift Store. All the other things I already had laying around. The gold dress I am wearing is from Abercrombie and Fitch that my Aunt Deb got me from the NYC so shoutout to Aunt Deb I LOVE IT!  The head band I am wearing I made from flowers you can buy at any craft store. For this Photo shoot I was most excited about that Fur coat that I got for only $5.00!!! If you have ever gone thrift shopping for fur coats you would know that is an amazing deal!! Also if you are looking for old vintage suitcases go to This That and More because the teal old suitcase I got is heavy duty and I only got it for $3.00!! I plan out days to hit as many Thrift Stores as I can which is really fun especially if you go with a bunch of friends! The easiest way is to go to your favorite store first then from thereI see where the next closets one is and go check it out! You never know what you will find! This time I got really lucky and hit gold with everything I found, and I hope you all love the photos!! Remember to comment on what you would like to see on the blog!

New YEAR!! New YOU!!

       Hey everyone sorry about the lack of posting lately its been crazy busy with the holidays and I hope you are all enjoying your break as much as I am! This year I decided that I am actually gonna set a new years resolution and make a list of goals for myself so I have a vision board of what I want to become and where I am wanting to go. Ive tried doing the new years resolution before and of course mine was like everyone else's which is to workout and just like everyone else I was all in to it for like a month then after that I released how much I missed eating whatever I wanted so I gave up, but honestly the working out resolution never works out so I didn't feel that bad about it! This year I made more realistic goals so I'm crossing my fingers I can stick to them. It's a New Year so it's a starting point to figure out who you want to be and figure out the New You! This year try mixing up your style and trying new crazy things! Its time to think about things different, change up your hair and plan many great adventures! Or if you are perfectly content with who you are then thats great too! Your one step a head of everyone else! There is new things to come and I decided I'm going to dedicate myself more to my blog and actually post stuff more often, because I've been slacking! This New Year's I got blessed to have a white New Year's I would have preferred Christmas but hey you get what you get! We also found this frozen pound so we did a little ice skating which was really awesome. I am glad its still the winter season so I can wear sweaters and leggings everyday and for this winter shoot I did just that! In the winter I always dress for being inside but so when I go outside I can just throw on a heavy jacket and still look great and be warm! If you wear to many layers you are just going o feel like you have a hundred pounds of clothes and not be comfortable when your inside. So here I decided to wear my black leggings from Victoria Secret with my high low quarter length shirt from Tilly's. I accessorized with a black scarf from Old Navy but I tied the ends together so it would be an infinity scarf. I also wore high knee socks from Tilly's and black combat boots from Shiekh Shoes. Just an fyi Shiekh Shoes around this time has a buy a boot get a boot for free or a dollar so check that out! For this outfit i choose to have a hunter green Abercrombie and Fitch heavy jacket so when I go  outside I'm still warm! Adding the hunter green also gave it a little bit of color instead of just a black and white outfit and still is settle. For my hair I just threw it up in a messy bun and I wore my glasses just for fun! I hope everyone is Having a great break and I'm excited to share everything that is to come!

Ootd

Today's outfit of the day I decided to go all black because it's finals week and it's been all rainy so I fit in with weather and final week vibe. My shirt is from Tillys and I just got it the day before from my aunt and I'm in love with the pattern on the front! It is also perfect to wear leggings with because it is long in the back. So obviously I'm wearing leggings and they are from Pink. My scarf is just a regular scarf made into a infinity scarf simply by tying the ends together and my head band is from American eagle. The combat boots are from Shiek shoes and if you are even wondering my socks are from old navy not like it matters but they were so comfy! I have my hair in a knot bun kept up by my cream and gold button knot hair ties. I hope everyone is super excited for Christmas because I know I am!

Weddington Way New Years Eve Wedding

     Ive had an amazing opportunity to participate in this style challenge for a New Year's Eve Wedding! I don't know about you but when I think about New Years Eve I think about Black, Gold ,and GLITTER  so for this wedding that is the colors I choose to go with. I went with the cream long sleeve lace dress because it fits the season and theme just right, it could be used for an outside wedding or an inside wedding. A long sleeve dress looks good on all body figures and chest sizes so everyone can feel comfortable and modest. So now we are gonna work are way
from the top to the bottom in all the fun outfit details. For the hair, of course we have to follow the rules
                                          Strapless= all hair down,
                                       V-Neck=half up half down,
                                              Halter=up do, and a
                                        One strap=side pony/braid
but since the dress we choose has sleeves you can have the choice of an up do or all hair down. I choose the relaxed all down beach wave because it looks great with long or short hair. I believe the most important thing when planning bridesmaids outfits is that you have to find something that will look great on everyone body type and also what hairstyle will look good with every length and beach waves is one of those unique styles. Even a side twist for the bangs or a braid to pull hair out of the face is perfect. We don't want the bridesmaids hair to be overdone and extraordinary because we don't want it to enter fear with the bride to be.

Usually the bride goes with a more natural look and nothing to out of the world with the eyes so I say its a perfect opportunity for the bridesmaids. I choose to tie in the colors of the weddings into the eye makeup by not going over board. With the cream color of the dress a smoky eye with a shimmery gold will look great.
Also back to making sure everything looks good on everyone this eye makeup looks good with every eye color. We are going for a natural face makeup with a bold eye. A soft nude lip will also look fabulous! Everyone knows that before a wedding you have to get your nails done so for the nails I choose something a little different. Instead of doing the traditional french tip I
choose a nude polish with a gold tip                                         to match the eyes and the colors of the wedding.

Now lets get down to what every girl cares the most
about, SHOES! I picked out a gold glittery ankle boot  stiletto which is way out of the box but it looks great!! I've learned that in fashion sometimes you have to get two things you would not ever put together and I just put them together most of the time it works in a weird way! It adds a touch of fabulous and screams New Year's Eve! It can also be worn with a ton of other outfits and is just a fun shoe! Now for the little details that make a world of a difference. The jewelry I choose are all from forever 21 and is a great place to get jewelry for cheap when you are on a wedding budget. I chose simple teardrop rhinestone stud earrings. For the necklace you can go either way, a statement necklace close to the neck or one that hangs a little. You don't want one that hangs really low. I picked a tight pearl  and gold statement necklace and a pearl and diamond necklace with a gold chain. Both tie into the wedding trend I am in love with which is the broach bouquet. I wouldn't necessarily have the bride have one, unless incorporated with flowers but for the bridesmaids I love the idea!! They are so fun and different and come in so many different ways. A New Year's Eve wedding would be so fun and there is a millions ways you could plan it. This is my bridesmaid fashion breakdown and I've had a blast doing it! I'm thankful for the opportunity that Weddington Way gave me, so a huge shout out to them and if you have a wedding coming up go check them out! A special thanks to Alex for emailing me in the first place and picking me to participate in this amazing December style challenge! Start of Something New...

 I am so excited to say that I have been working on new things and am so excited to share them with you! I have been working on designing and up cycling a lot of new clothing and wanted to start out with something simple that is way cute and super fun! I am obsessed with these and I am so excited I have my very own collection of them now. I am talking about the knot hair ties and boot lace. Almost every time I wear my combat boots I wear boot lace with them. People ask me all the time where do I get them and I say that I got my first pair from my mother who bought them for me at a boutique a long time ago but now I make my own! I also love the knot hair ties and have worn them in my blog post before so now I decided to make my own collection of them to bring a little bit of my style into yours.
