SUMMER

So much for my New Years resolution I have been terrible at actually posting stuff on the blog since I have mostly just been doing Instagram. So summer is finally here and it's honestly my favorite season because it means the pool, beach, relaxing and most of all no school! My favorite summer outfit so far is this black and white one! A nice classy black and white outfit is 100 times better than and colored outfit! Black and white is so fun because you can do so much with it and if you really wanted a pop of color you can add it to your shoes a belt, jewelry, and everything else! Black and white is just classy and elegant simple as that. Also you don't see much black and white in the summertime with all the fun colors but it's the perfect time to break out that little black dress and add a floppy hat! If you haven't noticed I'm obsessed with my black floppy hat and it is by far my favorite thing I have ever purchased! They can go with pretty much everything!! And bonus it keeps your face out of the sun! A other thing I love about summer is all the cool crazy sunglasses that come out! There is so many funky designs I WANT THEM ALL!! So go get a new pair of shades because they are awesome! Summer is a time to change your outfit 5 times a day for all the fun things you get to do so make each outfit better than the other one!

Start of Something New...

 I am so excited to say that I have been working on new things and am so excited to share them with you! I have been working on designing and up cycling a lot of new clothing and wanted to start out with something simple that is way cute and super fun! I am obsessed with these and I am so excited I have my very own collection of them now. I am talking about the knot hair ties and boot lace. Almost every time I wear my combat boots I wear boot lace with them. People ask me all the time where do I get them and I say that I got my first pair from my mother who bought them for me at a boutique a long time ago but now I make my own! I also love the knot hair ties and have worn them in my blog post before so now I decided to make my own collection of them to bring a little bit of my style into yours. Christmas is right around the corner and these are great for stocking stuffers or just great gifts for friends. There is so many ways you can wear them and I will be putting up a bunch of outfits so you can see how I wear mine. Miss Sandy Bird

This blog is dedicated to one of my bff's Sandy Bird not only is she a fashionista herself she has a beautiful heart and she is unforgettable. This month my fashion inspiration goes out to her and I miss her like crazy and can't wait to see her this weekend!!! Sandy dressed down a lace dress with some combat boots and a tribal print sweater also she is wearing distressed shorts with combat boots a blue and white tribal print tank and a vintage cream cardigan.

Being caught wearing the same outfit will never happen again!

   The college life has been seriously so crazy and I haven't been able to post in a while, and I'm working on some really fun projects! Ive learned so far from college is that you make the best out of what you got and not only is that very relevant in life it also is in fashion. When your in college your poor simple as that. You have to think out of the box for new outfits because you can't just go buy a new one. The black skirt I am wearing is actually shorts. I was in need of a black skirts and I loved the lace trim on these shorts so i decided that i would safety pin the bottom layer up into the shorts so that the lace trim that went all the way around would just show making it appear that I am wearing a little black lace skirt. Personally I could not wear a skirt this short (without having a very embarrassing moment) unless I had shorts underneath so it was a win win situation! That just a little fashion tip secret I have under my belt that I had to share with you. I alter my outfits all the time in order to get a new look each time without repeating the same outfit again and again cause who wants to be caught doing that? Every look is a new look as long as you let it be, that's my key phrase every time I get dressed in the morning. Be creative and think outside of the box! For some reason I'm in love with tying a knot in my tank tops lately so of course that what I did here, I personally think it gives your outfit a little attitude. When I was doing my hair for this outfits I had a bohemian look in mind so I incorporated a lot of brains, I also had braid in the back of my head going down into my side braid. Finally the most exciting part to me in this outfit was my jean vest that was up cycled by yours truly! I have a tutorial on how I made it coming soon if you guys are interested. So lets get down to business the tank top is from Old Navy, the skirt is from Shasa, and the jean vest is from the Goodwill and up cycled by me, I am also wearing a penny bracelet from Designer Blvd, and a key bracelet from Forever 21.

I just had to share with you that I am finally a lucky winner!! Even if I was the only contestant I still won which never happens!! So for the contest we had to create a outfit in the store using only clothing from designer blvd. I choose a sponky outfit and it totally is something I would wear! Designer blvd is an amazing store and you all should check them out on Instagram and on their website http://designerblvdaz.com I promise you will find something you love!! They mostly sell home decor stuff but they do have clothes! The deniem vest I am wearing is $38.99 the coral shirt I am wearing is $32.99 and the amazing lace pants are $49.99 the necklace was $16.00 I believe. Check them out!!

Crazy for pink Victoria Secret contest!

If you don't know already Pink by Victoria Secret is having a crazy for pink contest to win gift cards to Victoria Secret and my sister and I thought we would join in, so we had a little fun with it! there is an amazing place just down the road from my house that i love to take pictures at. It is a old barn with a big nice field. It was just one of those sporadic moments where we both said "hey lets go" so we got our smiles on, threw on some Victoria secret clothes, did a little makeup and hair and went down to the barn! Oh yeah we also had to somehow get are brother willing enough to take pictures of us, that was a little challenging. It was just once again another random photo shoot we do in the Harris household but like all the photo shoots we do it was a blast! It's all about having fun, letting loose and trying new things! We also thought it would be pretty awesome to say we had been Victoria Secret Angles!!!

                          

RED! RED! RED!

Red is the color of energy, passion and action. A red outfit grabs attention and needs to be flaunted! If you watched my video I talked about the shirt I am wearing and how excited I was to find a perfect outfit for it, so here it is my perfect outfit I found for it! I love wearing red and cream together because it is the perfect balance of a loud color with a soft one. Your outfit speaks louder than words and defines who you are. A put together outfit lets others know that you yourself are put together and makes it easier for others to approach you. A lazy slap together outfit tells others you are unorganized and makes people think you don't care. Always add your own touch to every outfit to make it scream you! Summer looks

This summer I'm going to share with you some of my favorite summer looks! I love white lace shirts with a pair of ripped jeans and combat boots with a little lace edging on the socks! It’s a classy look but also gives the feel of being laid back; it is also super fun to accessorize with. Adding a flower crown or a diamond headband is what I have loved to do best this summer because it gives a pop of color without taking over the outfit. It also can bring attention to a great hair style! When I go big with the accessorize I try and be very neutral and classy with the clothing because you never want to go overboard. This summer I have also found out that I love the loose pant material look with a crop top tank. It is so simple but it also gives out bold statements. It’s a comfy look for around the house and perfect light material for the hot summer. Always remember your attitude wearing the clothes leaves the impression on what people will think about it so STRUT YOUR STUFF!!
