Ive had an amazing opportunity to participate in this style challenge for a New Year's Eve Wedding! I don't know about you but when I think about New Years Eve I think about Black, Gold ,and GLITTER so for this wedding that is the colors I choose to go with. I went with the cream long sleeve lace dress because it fits the season and theme just right, it could be used for an outside wedding or an inside wedding. A long sleeve dress looks good on all body figures and chest sizes so everyone can feel comfortable and modest. So now we are gonna work are way
Strapless= all hair down,
V-Neck=half up half down,
Halter=up do, and a
One strap=side pony/braid
but since the dress we choose has sleeves you can have the choice of an up do or all hair down. I choose the relaxed all down beach wave because it looks great with long or short hair. I believe the most important thing when planning bridesmaids outfits is that you have to find something that will look great on everyone body type and also what hairstyle will look good with every length and beach waves is one of those unique styles. Even a side twist for the bangs or a braid to pull hair out of the face is perfect. We don't want the bridesmaids hair to be overdone and extraordinary because we don't want it to enter fear with the bride to be.
Usually the bride goes with a more natural look and nothing to out of the world with the eyes so I say its a perfect opportunity for the bridesmaids. I choose to tie in the colors of the weddings into the eye makeup by not going over board. With the cream color of the dress a smoky eye with a shimmery gold will look great.
Also back to making sure everything looks good on everyone this eye makeup looks good with every eye color. We are going for a natural face makeup with a bold eye. A soft nude lip will also look fabulous! Everyone knows that before a wedding you have to get your nails done so for the nails I choose something a little different. Instead of doing the traditional french tip I
choose a nude polish with a gold tip to match the eyes and the colors of the wedding.
Now lets get down to what every girl cares the most
about, SHOES! I picked out a gold glittery ankle boot stiletto which is way out of the box but it looks great!! I've learned that in fashion sometimes you have to get two things you would not ever put together and I just put them together most of the time it works in a weird way! It adds a touch of fabulous and screams New Year's Eve! It can also be worn with a ton of other outfits and is just a fun shoe! Now for the little details that make a world of a difference. The jewelry I choose are all from forever 21 and is a great place to get jewelry for cheap when you are on a wedding budget. I chose simple teardrop rhinestone stud earrings. For the necklace you can go either way, a statement necklace close to the neck or one that hangs a little. You don't want one that hangs really low. I picked a tight pearl and gold statement necklace and a pearl and diamond necklace with a gold chain. Both tie into the wedding trend I am in love with which is the broach bouquet. I wouldn't necessarily have the bride have one, unless incorporated with flowers but for the bridesmaids I love the idea!! They are so fun and different and come in so many different ways. A New Year's Eve wedding would be so fun and there is a millions ways you could plan it. This is my bridesmaid fashion breakdown and I've had a blast doing it! I'm thankful for the opportunity that Weddington Way gave me, so a huge shout out to them and if you have a wedding coming up go check them out!
